Director, Change Strategy & Assessment

Amy works with leadership teams to help them build energizing organizations that unleash human potential. She began her career as a psychologist but soon switched her focus to organizations as they offered a gateway to enhance the lives of thousands at a time. Since then she has been partnering with leaders to help them hit key milestones while also uplifting and empowering employees.

As a professor at the Ross School of Business, her teaching and research has focused on positive communication and organizational practices that drive workplace alignment, high quality connections, and employee engagement. Amy has been a core faculty member at the Center for Positive Organizations and has served as the Center’s Consortium Faculty Director. In this role, she has helped translate the Center’s cutting edge scholarship to practical applications for large corporations, non-profits and start-ups. She is the co-creator of The BluePrintTM Assessment Tools, designed to measure beliefs at the leadership, organizational, and individual level that are key for developing positive work environments. In one of her most recent books, Thinkbanking & Corporate Webbing, Amy explores employee thriving in the digital age and offers solutions on how to balance the need for relational connections with the speed and digitization of the 21st century.
